In my practice, I explore duality — how opposites exist in the world at the same time. I am interested in the tension between fragility and strength, security and vulnerability, form and disintegration. I feel that it is in this tension that movement and life are born.
The main form I work with is a vessel. And a person is also a kind of unique vessel — a container of feelings, emotions, experiences, and personal knowledge, so for me, the form is a way of thinking. Through the form, I talk about the state of the soul, about the inner stability or, on the contrary, about the moment of change. It is important for me to show the process — how something changes, transforms, goes through pressure and becomes different. I was inspired by the idea of antifragility, which was first introduced by Professor Nassim Taleb. Here, I reflect on what is happening around us, how to embrace the duality of the world, and how to become stronger through vulnerability and the experience of change. Vulnerability is not a weakness, but a point of growth.
I experiment a lot with materials, work on the texture, try different burning modes. I study the composition and apply this knowledge to the embodiment of my ideas. For me, the material is not just a tool, but a partner, it leaves traces of my hands, cracks from pressure, and it is in this that the living result is born.
