Verticals

Verticals is a non-figurative series consisting of vases -cylinders. Mostly in my works thoughts and ideas are expressed abstractly, due to simple lines and forms, consciously cutting off others. So it is possible to get as close as possible to the essence and explore how the thought transforms reality, simplifying it to a model, concept, law. Changing their position in space, I change the trajectory of perception, shifting attention, rhythm and logic of observation.At this point, abstraction becomes a visible structure of thinking — something that usually remains internal and is not verbalized. I invite the viewer to think about how subtle our perception is, what changes inside us when a single line changes direction, rhythm, density, about the fact that abstraction is a break from reality, but a way to see it even deeper: through structure, through feeling, through the internal tension of form.
